Image Rotation: Before and After

How to Rotate an Image
Upload a PNG or JPG from your device.
Drag the angle slider for a small adjustment, or use the rotate buttons for a 90° turn. The image updates as you make changes.
Click Download PNG to save the result. Reset restores the original orientation without removing your photo.
Rotate to Any Angle
Use the image rotator to straighten a tilted photo or turn it sideways. The slider covers −180° to 180°. For a half-turn, click either rotate button twice.
The canvas expands to keep all four corners. A tilted image will have transparent space around its edges.
Flip a Photo or Create a Mirror Image
Flip horizontally to swap the left and right sides of your photo. Flip vertically to swap the top and bottom. You can combine either flip with rotation.
PNG and JPG Input, PNG Download
You can rotate PNG images with transparent areas or upload a JPG photo. Both download as PNG.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will Rotating Crop My Image?
No. The canvas expands to fit the rotated image. Nothing is intentionally cropped from the edges.
Why Did the Image Dimensions Change?
A 90° turn swaps the width and height. Other angles may need a larger canvas to fit the whole image.
Does Rotation Change Image Quality?
Arbitrary-angle rotation resamples the image, so fine edges may look slightly softer. Adjustments are rendered from the original image rather than repeatedly rotating an already-edited copy.
Can I Crop the Image Afterward?
Use the Aspect Ratio Cropper for a rectangular crop, or the Round Image Cropper for a transparent circle. This tool rotates and flips the whole image.
Do I Need an Account?
No. The tool runs in your browser without signup.
